My name is Erika Andersen and I am the owner and licensed massage therapist at SUPERIOR MASSAGE THERAPY.  I am trained in neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, rock blades and certified in myofascial release. After receiving my Bachelors of Sport Science from Northern Michigan University I continued my education and graduated from Ann Arbor Instituted for Massage Therapy.

I became interested in massage therapy so that I could help people. Massage is a great way for active people to continue doing the activities you love and that is my goal as a therapist.   I want you to come see me and leave feeling better. It is important to be proactive in your own health. The best way to do that is to do everything you can to stay healthy; being active and eating healthy are a great place to start! My role as a massage therapist is to keep you doing what you love.

Outside of massage, I am an outdoor enthusiast who is currently training for sprint and Olympic distance triathlon.  I also enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, snowboarding, hanging out with my dog, and riding my motorcycle (not necessarily in that order). I believe that being active and living healthy plays a large role in the happiness we experience in life, and I encourage everyone to do what you love and love what you do!

About the Clients

Superior Massage Therapy works primarily with competitive athletes and weekend warriors who use massage as part of their regular self-care routine.

Many of my clients participate in sports such as triathlons, marathons, and olympic weightlifting; they use a combination of massage and stretching to increase range of motion and flexibility and to decrease delayed onset muscle soreness and their chance of injury.

Superior Massage Therapy might be the right place for you if you enjoy being active and are looking for someone to help you stay that way.
