Meet Our Staff

Nick: Licensed Massage Therapist

My name is Nick and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist at Superior Massage Therapy! I am a graduate of Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Michigan. Irene's trained me on a variety of different techniques and my specialties include Sports Massage, and trigger point therapy.

I have dedicated the majority of my life to pursuing health and wellness using a hands-on approach. I come from a background of fitness and holistic approaches to healing. With the tools I have acquired and the knowledge I have gained, I am ready to help make positive changes to everyone that I can.

When I’m not working I’m enjoying the outdoors, going to music festivals, or spending quality time with those I value most in this life.  We all know tomorrow is not guaranteed and part of making the most the time we’re given being able to properly seize the day. Let's work together to remove any obstacle that is in your way and get your goals achieved!!

Alison: Licensed Massage Therapist

Hello!

My name is Alison and I am a graduate of Irene's Myomassology Institute. I am trained in a variety of techniques and modalities, with some of my specialties being sports massage, myofascial stretching, and craniosacral therapy. I believe in total restorative care of the body and often include integrative holistic therapies in my sessions such as reflexology alongside targeted neuromuscular treatments. When working with clients, my intention is to help bring about an overall sense of well-being in order to help you achieve your personal therapeutic goals.

I keep active in my spare time with yoga, hiking, cardio dance, and weight training. My family and I love exploring Michigan and visit Metroparks often. To relax I paint, read, and play computer games. I am also in my first year of apprenticeship at Irene's Myomassology Institute for continued education.

I am looking forward to working with you soon!

Erika: Owner,

Licensed Massage Therapist

My name is Erika and I am the owner and licensed massage therapist at Superior Massage Therapy. I am trained in neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, Rock Blades (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation) Rock Tape (Kinesiology Tape), Rock Pods (Myofascial Cupping), and certified in myofascial release. After receiving my Bachelors of Sport Science from Northern Michigan University I completed my massage education from Ann Arbor Instituted for Massage Therapy.

I became interested in massage therapy so that I could help people. Massage is a great way for active people to continue doing the activities you love and that is my goal as a therapist. I want you to come see me and leave feeling better. It is important to be proactive in your own health. The best way to do that is to do everything you can to stay healthy; being active and eating healthy are a great place to start! My role as a massage therapist is to keep you doing what you love.

When I'm not at work, I am an outdoor enthusiast! I enjoy triathlon, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, snowboarding, and hanging out with my dog, (not necessarily in that order). I believe that being active and living healthy plays a huge role in the happiness we experience in life, and I encourage everyone to do what you love and love what you do!
